			<content type="html"><![CDATA[<p>not necessary weight paint, use vertex groups, you can have exactly the same result.</p><p>For example, the torso of your robot :</p><p>1 : Object Modifiers tab &gt; in the Armature modifier, select &#039;Armature&#039; in the &#039;Object&#039; field<br />2 : Object Data tab &gt; add a vertex group with the name of the bone you want to skin the vertex group, here &quot;Bone&quot;<br />3 : go to edit mode &gt; select all vertices of the torso &gt; clic on &#039;assign&#039; in the vertex group</p><p>do that for every piece of the robot.</p>]]></content>

			<content type="html"><![CDATA[<p>What I mean is parenting to bones is not supported by the exporter.</p><p>You have to use vertex skinning to attach the vertices to the bone.</p>]]></content>

			<content type="html"><![CDATA[<p>Hmmm going to have to wait on anael for this one. I couldnt get the animation exported eather. But i will say I really like your robot and I learned something new about modeling characters that are going to be animated. Your character is broken up in differant parts I never though about doing it that way. My main characters body was alwys one solid peice and I would have problems with joint folding. Soooo Thanks <img src="http://forum.maratis3d.com/img/smilies/wink.png" width="15" height="15" alt="wink" /> for showing a differnt way to do that.</p>]]></content>
