Hey! What gives the best performance? A big world with all the houses made in one blender file and imported to maratis in maybe 4 layers. Ground, water, houses, details.

That should put you on the right track at least.
" If in Blender you split your mesh in multiple objects and export as 1 mesh it can work good (it will create sub-mesh in the mesh format wich are drawn only if visible).
You can use normal mapping to add visual relief if you want to limit triangles.
You can also bake lighmap in blender and use the texture as Emit texture.

try to separate your buildings at least.
and if you want to make it faster, change the clipping distance of the camera.
Thanks, I have separated all the buildings from the terrain.
That's what I was looking for, the clipping distance. It makes my game faster.
