Topic: FPS Game - Open Source!

Hi,
    Here is the FPS game that I am making right now with Maratis. There are only three rooms right now.
    I thought I should share it from the beginning with the community to make this game usable for every one. This game will be open source and every one will be able to download/develop this game.
    Right now I am testing it with FixedRenderer. Once I will complete and add the interior of the rooms I will lightmap it and change it to StandardRenderer.
    Interiors are almost complete just need to texture.

You are indirectly introducing an idea i had some time ago,
What if all the current users team up and focus on a single projet to make an ass-blowing game ?
There's alot of indie game sites out there, that can be a nice ticket for maratis to gather more people.
This can also be a good material for a future show-reel video.
What you think about ?

I am agree with youand that is what I am also thinking. That is why I am making this game open source and will be available for everyone to download. Develop or upgrade the present codes/graphics to make it look awesome and usefull for Maratis user. A game showing every feature of Maratis. A complete ready made FPS framework to start from with complete detail from first to last. It is also possible to use the same assets to make 3rd person games.
Once I will complete the interior then I will lightmap the three rooms and upload it to be able to download by every user for now. There will be more rooms in complete map. More weapons to choose from. Enemy, friend etc.

Using the LookAt behavior, added the light halo as billboard.

Just don't understand how to make an object backface effected by light! For Green vegetables.

good work,
for the vegetable, if you want the light to affect both sides correctly
you are forced to duplicate the triangles and flip the normal.
