Topic: .max model not inserting!

So i inserted a .max file model, i clicked import, it didn't show up any errors at all, but it didnt show up in workspace too! What is the problem? Are .max files not supported, or i got something wrong?

Hi, max files are not supported, use Collada (dae), or obj.
