Topic: [Probled] Blender 2.56 BETA export plugin doesnt work

Hey, As blender 2.62 doesnt work for me and i want to make a game i need the import export, but whatever i try it wont work!
I tryed everything (Loading it with the zip, placing a file in blender / 2.56 / scripts / addon / maratis

Please help me, the only thing in the command console it says:
Founc bundled pyton: <PLACE WHERE BLENDER IS>
   bpy.utils.addon_enable io_import_scene_unreal_psk

Nothing in the user properties > addon > import export

BTW: I did NOT install Blender...
And it also doesnt work with that version

I get an error when selecting the zip, i also got the file in the addons / maratis / __init__.py and that other file python file

wait, what do you mean you did not install blender ? what version of blender are you using ?

I got the zip package, i did not install the blender.exe so it installs it on your PC,
Im using 2.56

BTW, Need a layout scripter? Im a scripter in:

HTML, PHP, CSS, bit Javascript
I use MySQL

ok, can you try at least blender 2.57 ? because the 2.56 version was unstable with python and I think was only a beta.

2.57, the plugin doesnt work
from 2.58 and higher i get errors and the program gets terminated

I just tried with this (blender 2.57b win 32) and it's working :

If it's not working with you, check you don't have a conflict with python, or it's a problem with blender...

   I am using Blender 2.61 and its working nicely and I don't have python installed.

I had to reinstall, and I have blender 2.62 and find that trying to install addon via the utils>maratiz.zip, isn't working here
either. I have the maratis 2.57 exporter zip file as well, and have no idea whats wrong.

When I added the maratiz.zip in utils DIR, I got no error, but I can't find the exporter to flag it for enabling.

I do not have python installed atm, but I should not need it given its included in blender zip file, as noted in blender console.

Hi, i confirm you don't need python installed.
If it's any help, here's how i did :

(I'm using Blender 2.57b portable)

- Start blender
- go in File -> User Preferences -> Add-ons
- Install add-on (bottom of the window)
- locate maratisExporter_bl-257.zip
- Type "mara" in the search field if it doesn't appear directly
- Enable it (check box)

I guess somebody should update the howto then, as it clearly shows you selecting maratis.zip under utils>

i would like to continue with this topic since i tried to install Blender 2.57 Maratis-Exporter, but couldn´t do it

i tried:
-Extract files from zip and install them separately: DIDN´T WORKED
-Install zip file: DIDN´T WORKED
-Open blender with admin rights: DIDN´T WORKED


i don´t know what to do :S

Hi, you should try with blender 2.57b

or blender 2.61, as it seems to have worked for Arclord

2.63a is out now, so I suspect most will be using that ?
